I've turned 18! again.......

Yesterday Jo was asking me how come I blog about other ppl's birthday but didn't blog about my own bd? haha I guess I was too busy eating.... er... I mean celebrating! hehe

Will.. what did I do on my BD? Unfortunately(or fortunately) it falls on sunday so I had to go to church in the morning. I woke up feeling very sleepy.... I didn't sleep very well the night b4 as I was having a cough and slight fever. Of course I ate the 2 hard boiled eggs my mom traditionally makes for me and my sis, Moh Cheng(we share the same BD) every year on our birthday. A few Blcians wish me happy birthday. The funniest one was Sigrun as I saw her walking/running towards me carrying Declan as I was coming out of the office, wishing me and mentioning something about me turning 30! I replied and said "30? I'm only 18!" Yes... if it wasn't for the cough and fever I would have been younger! ;P ngahahahahahah

Affer church service a bunch of us went to Bangsar Village for lunch at "Chatterbox". The food was ok. James, Chin Hor, Keat Lim, Wan Ching, Wan Yien, Takeshi & Vicky......THANKS for lunch.

Funny thing is a few blcians asked me what plans I have to celebrate my BD. I just told them I'm going for a wedding dinner. I guess this year's BD is a bit special for me becoz first of all I'll be going for a fren's wedding. And second I get to celebrate it with my godson (best birthday present I can ever ask for!!). Thanks to Siew Peng for having her wedding on my BD so Francis & Shu Yuh will come back with Jerell!! He was sleeping most of the time during the dinner but I enjoyed the time spend with him. And he liked the nusery rhyme book that I bought for him. hehe it's my BD and I'm giving out presents. Come to think of it..... I spend some time during my BD last year looking for a BD present for Helena. I think there's as much fun giving out presents as well as receiving it. *GRIN*

For fans of Final Fantasy VII

After months of waiting... finally I could get my hands on the Final Fantasy VII DVD "Advent Child". It's takes place 2 years after the end of the Final Fantasy game. It's funny to see the characters in such highend CG compare to the game which looks a bit cartoony.

When the other Final Fantasy movie came out I had high hopes for it but I was dissapointed. The CG was good but story line stucks. I thot they would have a storyline that's similar to the FF games but I guess not. For those of you who plays FF, you'll know what I mean. One reason why FF have so many fans is becoz the storyline for every version is good. That's why I was excited when I heard about this movie. I like it. The effects are damn good. The fighting scene...wow.. one of the best I've seen (for those of you who suffer from motion sickness...be warn!) Fans of FFVII YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY WATCH THIS. For those of you who doesn't play the game will get a bit confuse about the story but just watch it.. the CG alone is worth it.

*Blink* *Blink* She's 3 oledi?!?!

Just 2 weeks old. Noticed her face... as "mang" as the mom's face! hahaha

Few months old..... soooooo cute & chubby!!

Celebrating her 1 year old BD with mummy...Godma & Aunty Gulshan...

what? oledi 3 years old?!?!?

Just barely 2 weeks after we celebrated Jo's BD....and it's her daughter's turn. Helena turned 3 on the 2nd this month. The parents had a huge party for her at the Kidz Sports & Gym at 1-Utama. I had to leave church early to attend her party. "wah..."Grace said "I'm a "yea say how" godma" (translation.. a super duper cool godma! hahahahah) when she heard I had to leave early.

That place is quite nice. Jo told me earlier that only kids until the age of 13 are allowed to play but I dun care. Why should only the kids have all the fun? I brought my socks along. Helena had a great time.... climbing up & down, jumping, running. I had fun too! ;P Her uncle Tiki had fun too! But after that we were exhausted. Playing can be very tiring! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE PIE!

Signs of getting old

I had to housesit for someone last week and while I was talking to the guy about all the arrangement suddenly I have this strange feeling liked I've aged 10 years.
- You know you are old when someone actually trust you to housesit for them and look after their 16 year old daughter.
- You know you are getting old when you dun mind getting up early in the morning. I had to get up at 6:20am in the morning to walk Sophie (the 16 year old daughter) to the guardhouse and make sure she gets on the bus on time. And I actually enjoyed waking up that early and I didn't even go back to sleep!! yes..malaysia must be snowing.... Waking up to smell the nice cool fresh air is nice once a while. For those of you who know me...I'm not exactly a morning person and about the only time I get up that early (apart from my school days) is when I have a plane to catch or when I need to pee!!

haha maybe I'm just being paranoid becoz my BD is coming. I dunno... I'm kind of excited that I'm turning 20.........ok ok...turning 30. ;P To me it's like closing a chapter of my life and opening a brand new one. It's like exploring a whole new outlook in life. It's like journeying into a whole new dimension. (ok...too much Star Trek!!) Whatever it is.... I'm glad I've a bunch of frens to share my journey with. God is certainly good to me.
