Food at TIC

This is what I had for dinner yesterday....Beef balls cooked in yoghurt with rice-540 Yen. We get free green tea, rice tea, coffee & tea. The Rice tea is very good & refreshing!

Usually they will display the set which cost about 600 yen (the amount JICA give us for our daily dinner) or you can choose ala carte inside. Once you've chosen your food, take the no. tag, go to the cashier pass them the tag and the meal card to swipe and then you take a seat and your food will be served to you. Very efficient!
The ala carte food inside....see the green tags on top....you have to note the number on the food you want and take the tag with the number on it.

The dining hall. I love this place not only becoz there's food..... You get so many people from so many different countries sitting down here eating. There's people from south east asia, africa, east asia, asia-pacific, latin america. You hear the different languages being spoken while eating.... it's beautiful. All from different countries sitting down having a meal together. All of us are different but yet all of us are the same. We are all human beings striving to create a better life for ourselves and for other human beings by coming here to attend courses. How cool is that?

ah yes.... this is what I had for lunch.... black pepper pork set -500yen.
